Conley Starts!

The Grizzlies are undefeated in 2008, and Conley is there starting point guard.

It seems that Coach Marc Iavaroni read this blog's request in deciding to start Conley who had an impressive stat line in his first start.

Conley had 7 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and only one turnover.

According to the Commercial Appeal, not only was Stoudamire benched, but he also was put on the inactive list despite being healthy enough to play. He seemed at peace with the move. Could there be a deal in the works to send Stoudamire to a contender?

It would be sad to see him go, though not as sad as seeing him fall two years ago. Also, it probably makes sense for both him and the Grizzlies is a deal can be worked out.

Regardless, this is a highlight of the season where highlights have been few and far between.

Not only did he start but he seemed to manage the game with a poise youwouldn't ecpect from somebody playing his first significant minutes. His quickness and passing ability seem to show that he was worthy of the 4th pick. The team I watched last night is actually a fun team to watch (something that couldn't have been said for much of the season).

Yes, sounds like Conley is legit.

I predict a win in Boston. I think Gasol and Darko can handle Garnett. I'm worried about Pierce getting Gay in foul trouble and Ray Allen lighting up Mike Miller.

Where do we send Damon now that he wants out? There is no way we sit on his contract for two more years is there? I will believe a win over boston in boston when I see it...

Ok, not sure if this post really belongs here....

But can we talk about how the grizz have a better record than the heat? What the hell is going on with the heat that they have the worst record in the nba?

We send him wherever we can get a first round draft pick.

Houston, Miami, Boston, Cleveland, Dallas Could all use some veteran help at PG.

I'm surprised by Miami's fall too, but it's not too different from the Grizzlies last year: once the star returned (Mia: Wade / Mem: Gasol), the players who made the team good had either been traded away (Mia: Posey, Kapono / Mem: Wells, Battier) or were too old (Mia: O'Neal, Williams / Mem: Jones, Stoudamire).

Still, Wade is better than Gasol, and Miami is in the East. I think it's can be classified as underachieving.

A win in Boston... hahaha. If I had known this was now a comedic blog, I would have read it sooner!

At least you only predicted a win and did not guarantee one.
