Marc Gasol Signs with Grizzlies

By now, you probably know Marc Gasol signed with the Grizzlies.

I'm no Gasol hater. I hate the Gasol trade though I agree Gasol needed to be traded.

With that said, signing Gasol gives the Grizzlies another opportunity to prove me and everyone else in the world wrong about the trade.

I have to admit that I don't really have any idea how to project Gasol's impact.

In fact, with Gasol, Hakim Warrick, Darko Milicic, Darrell Arthur, and Antoine Walker anchoring the Grizzlies' front line, there a lot of questions yet to be answered.

Which of those players can provide more than 20 minutes of offense and defense? The older Gasol provided about 30 minutes of consistent offense and 5 minutes of consistent defense.

I look forward to finding out what the second Gasol can do.

You can't expect Marc to be much, at least early. The good young guys you have, Gay and Conley, will be good but as for the rest of the Grizz, don't think so!

Pacers will be 2-0 against your guys in 2008/2009, mark it up!

I think you have a chance of being right about the Grizzlies.

It will be tough to lose to the Pacers twice though.

can Marc at least wear Pau's # so you don't have to get a new jersey Dave? or did you burn it already..

Unfortunately, Marc chose Mike Miller's number 33, so I am SOL.

I did not burn my Pau jersey. I wear it for Evan in honor of the Lakers almost winning the Championship.

hello, i'm Spanish (Barcelona)and i speak little English. Pau belongs different from Marc. Pau is skilful and Marc is a heavy pivot, and young. Look Marc.....

The best Spanish player is Rudy Fernandez, this year play in Portland.
Thanks.

Hola!

We're hoping that you're right and Marc's game is different from Pau's.

What we really need is somebody to play physically in the paint. Hopefully, Marc can help with that, and at ~$3m per year, we don't need him to product offensively like Pau.

Just posted my thoughts. I would have liked to have Josh Smith. That would have been a great signing.
