Pictures From the Grizzlies Opening Night Vs the Spurs

The Grizzlies maintained their opening game losing streak against the World Champion Spurs on Halloween.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the game, but I like what I heard from friends and saw from the box score.

My buddy Curt was nice enough to provide some photos. Check em out below. If you attended or watched the game, post a comment with your thoughts.

If you have additional pictures, email me at david@davidlovesthegrizzlies.com.

Those are some sweet pics. Tony Barone never looked better. I did not attend, but I did watch the game and have to say it is about as impressive as you can be while still losing. It seems the team has really embraced Ivaroni's shoot if you are open mentality especially from Rudy Gay. It looked to me like he was ready to be the number two guy, his shots just weren't falling. Also you can see where Navarro can be a huge asset on offense with his three point hsooting ability, but I give hime at lother 10-15 gmaes before he starts adjusting to the NBA style of play. He had 2 bad walk calls that can be avoided. Lowry and Milicic were the two most impressive grizz on the floor. Milicic is a huge question mark, but he proved to be more than a space filler with some nice low post moves and some subborn defense on Tim Duncan. Lowry is almost too fast (as evident by his missed lay-up in the 4th), but he can create and get the ball down the floor. His defense was impressive as well. Its only one game, but if we play like we did in this game we will be a 40+ wins team and looking at a playoff berth. Again its only one game so we will see.

Whats the deal with Tarence Kinsey? Why is he in the dog house?

I think it's a numbers thing. Also, he lost some of his confidence in the preseason, and wasn't scoring as well.
