Where is Marc Gasol?

In case you were wondering where Marc Gasol was, I have found him. He didn't make it to Allen Iverson's press conference because he is playing for Spain at the Eurobasket Championships.

To see him in action, check out the 20 second mark of this video. He is sporting a nice haircut, which is good because he should look presentable for what might be his last chance to shoot a basketball in 2009.

At the Euro games, Gasol is averaging 6.6 points and 6.6 rebound in 19 minutes per game, whatever that means.

I wonder how he's feeling about the fact that the Grizzlies drafted someone who plays his position at #2 instead of his Spanish teammate. I'm sure any concern will be alleviated when the Grizzlies win a championship.

In that video
At 0:35 you can see Pau Gasol scoring in his own bucket.

I think Marc has a good rep in the NBA, so if this thing ends badly I could see him in a team like Chicago or Dallas in two years.

He's playing very good defense and very little ofense in the Eurobasket.

Tell me we still have roster space! This guy would be perfect to mentor our young Bigs:

AI finally found a crack in Twitter's 140 character armor. Note to Grizzlies opponents: be on the lookout for this crafty ingenuity!

Don't you think Mark Eaton would be a better fit?

David,
Nate and I were talking at the bar last night and we decided that based off of your amazing streak at betting on halftime spreads in Vegas at my bachelor party last year, you should evolve this blog into a sports betting advice blog tailored to halftime spreads ( I am going to start a long, run-on sentence blog). Once people see your genious you can start charging $7.99 a month to subscribe, quit your job and just watch NBA games for a living. Thoughts?

Love it. I am in.

Can we call it davidlovestogambleonNBAhalftimespreads.blogspot.com or theminnesotatimberwolvesareastrongfirsthalfteam.blogspot.com?

A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. Yesterday I found this site:
Rivalspot.com - Wii tournaments for money
They say you can play online Football game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?
