I Am Embarrassed To Have Bought This Hat

Dear Michael Heisley and the Memphis Grizzlies,

I bought this hat from Amazon in celebration of your great success this season, and now, with your recent struggles, I am embarrassed. Please rectify the situation. For example, One idea is to make a trade before 3 PM EST Thursday that at least appears, partially, to make basketball sense, sort of.

Another idea would be to acquire a point guard that makes layups.

Please don't tell me you are saving money to pay Rudy Gay this summer. We are not going to get better with the same players minus Steven Hunter next year. And we are not going to be better next year when you tell us you can't afford more players because you are paying Rudy Gay $15 million per year.

Love,
David

PS Dorell Wright does not count.

PPS I heart Hasheem Thabeet.

This is sort of a Grizzlies trade:

"The New York Knicks have a deal in principle to send Darko Milicic to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Brian Cardinal, two sources with knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com on Wednesday."

That is without a doubt the best picture of you I have ever seen.

Also, WTF offering up Mayo????? That makes me sooo sad.

They must have read the blog where I said they should acquire Monta.

They just missed the part where I said Monta and Mayo would make an awesome backcourt.

What do you think of my trade proposal? Are the Hornets ready to blow it up?

The Suns kept Amare. The Rockets got much better. The Grizzlies did nothing. Awesome.

I spoke too soon

the Ronnie Brewer era ushers in the golden age of Grizzlies basketball.

Quick everyone go buy your goofy grizzlies hat, Brewer was the missing piece! And we get rid of a 2011 pick which we surely would have blown on some guy who is 7'6" and only played bball for 2 months, but think of the potential! Actually I like this move, pretty smart and all about basketball.
